Federal Party Response

Each of the major party leaders have been sent the Canadian Chiropractic Association’s priorities and were asked to complete a questionnaire as it pertains to these priorities. They were asked to respond with how their party would address these priorities. The responses from each party to the questionnaire will be shared here.

While the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) is a vocal and active organization on policy issues as they relate to our industry and the work our members do, the CCA is a nonpartisan organization. CCA advocates on behalf of its members with all political parties and does not and will not endorse specific parties or candidates.

About the Canadian Chiropractic Association

The Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) serves as the national voice for the chiropractic profession. There are over 9,000 licensed Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) and 10 Provincial Chiropractic Associations in Canada.

We continually strive to provide Canadians with up-to-date information on the practice of chiropractic in Canada as well as public education on musculoskeletal (MSK) health and how our experts can help.

More than 11 million Canadians suffer from MSK pain every year. MSK conditions such as back pain, headaches, arm or neck strain and diseases of the muscle and joints are having a devastating impact on Canadians’ health, quality of life, workforce participation and our economy.

Chiropractors are an integral part of the solution to address this growing epidemic. Every year, 4.5 million Canadians rely on services offered by chiropractors to prevent and manage the serious burden of MSK pain and diseases. Why? Because chiropractic services are drug free, non-invasive, and preventative.
